Volunteer Opportunities
Quadrant Coordinator
Direct volunteer team on-site for
assigned quadrant to load-in,
build, maintain, and take-down
infrastructure Pride weekend.
Assist in recruitment of Quadrant
Operations Volunteers.
Requirements: Must be able to
assist with hanging banners,
carrying heavy materials, and with
overall operations for assigned
quadrant, must be able to be on
feet for an extended period of
time. Additional application
information required. If interested,
contact Rahn Anderson, Volunteer
Coordinator.
Commitment: meet weekly with
Operations Volunteer Coordinator
in June. Work on-site full time
Friday - Sunday of Pride.
Operations Volunteer
Work with assigned Quadrant
Coordinator to load-in, build,
maintain, or take-down
infrastructure for assigned quadrant
Pride weekend. Assist as necessary
with  operations at all Center-run
booths, including tickets,
merchandise and alcohol sales.
Assist with overall operations
as-needed.
Requirements: Must be able to
assist with hanging banners,
carrying heavy materials, and must
be able to be on feet for extended
periods of time.
Commitment: Minimum one 4 hour
shift Pride weekend.
Park Ranger
Park Rangers assist Denver PD,
Guardian Angels, traffic control, and
guests as needed. They monitor
guests at the festival and report
any problems or potential problems
to appropriate agency. They do not
intervene in problematic situations,
but instead monitor and report to
Denver PD, Guardian Angels, or
First Aid. Rangers monitor any
“canvassing” operations in the park
and make sure they have proper
credentials. They assist guests with
concerns as needed.
Requirements: Rangers must be
able to walk throughout the festival
during their shift.
Commitment: Minimum one 4 hour
shift Pride weekend.
Traffic Control
Traffic Control works throughout
the day, particularly in the
morning and evening, to ensure
that all vehicle traffic is moving in
an approved and appropriate
manner. They monitor all
barricaded intersections and direct
traffic as appropriate.
Requirements: Volunteers must
be able to remain on their feet and
mobile during their shift.
Volunteers must feel comfortable
being politely assertive with
inappropriate vehicle traffic.
Commitment: Minimum one 4
hour shift Pride weekend.
Entertainment / Festival
Interactive Areas
These volunteers will help with
set-up and take-down and will
assist with activities and crowd
management in entertainment
areas including the Parade, Family
Interactive, Dance Stage, Main
Stage, VIP Experience, Volunteer
Check-In, and The Center
information tent.
Commitment: minimum one 4
hour shift Pride weekend.
Family Field Day
Family Field Day volunteers work
with kids, parents, event volunteers
and vendors to ensure that this
aspect of the festival is running
safely and smoothly.
Responsibilities may include,
check-in, running games, handing
out prizes, and general set-up,
take down and operations.
Commitment: minimum one 4
hour shift Saturday, June 21.
